If you are able to work 8 hours between 4 AM and 5 PM CST, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges
Primary Responsibilities:

• Writing and performance tuning SQL Queries (T-SQL, SnowSQL a plus)
• Applying CI/CD processes utilizing Azure Dev Ops
• Designing SSIS packages in Visual Studio and deploying to SQL databases using advanced techniques
• Designing database tables to house data extract during the ETL process and applying an effective indexing and archiving strategy
• Participating in On Call rotation, fixing processing errors that occur
• Collaborates with other members of the Team on the design and implementation of optimal data solutions to support reporting and data extract needs
• Manages work, timelines, and sets stakeholder expectations
• Testing and validation of solutions, providing active feedback to stakeholders
• Practical understanding of API and streaming techniques used for data movement

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with SQL Query coding and optimization
• 3+ years of experience with requirements interpretation and translating that to a resilient and scalable solution
• 2+ years of familiarity with CI/CD process and Azure Dev Ops
• Experience maintaining code and providing developer support for existing solutions
• Knowledge of Stored Procedures, functions and code reusage techniques
• Practical knowledge of performance tuning, schemas, and SQL Server security
• Data modeling familiarity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tableau development experience
• Kafka experience
• Python experience
• PowerBI experience
• Alteryx experience
• Big Data experience is a plus (Snowflake or Hive preferred)
• Solid communication skills and ability to articulate complex solutions
• Ability to manage projects independently
