A Day in the Life

• Implement and maintain optimal product data adapters.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Contribute to internal process improvement efforts through automation and optimizing data delivery.
• Validate and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
• Build and maintain BI tools that provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Work with stakeholders including the Sales, Customer Experience, Science, and Development teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant technical experience; or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, or another quantitative field and 1+ years of relevant technical experience
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills, a deep understanding of database technology and data use within analytic platforms
• Must have strong programming skills with SQL and Python
• Experience or knowledge working with Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with direct customer interaction in a SaaS based environment preferred
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS cloud services: S3, RDS, Cloudwatch, Athena, Quicksight, Step Functions, Kinesis, and EC2
