In a nutshell
We're leading a large-scale CRM data migration to consolidate tooling and break down data silos across the business. The new system will help the teams scale more effectively, consolidate large operating expenses, and understand the business holistically. This is a high-visibility project with an opportunity to gain exposure and working experience with Snowflake.
We are looking for a strong data engineer who excels at managing big data, designing effective relational models, and optimizing ETLs for performance. We work in large cloud-based environments, using cutting edge tools like Snowflake to manage the data that runs large enterprises. About you

  • You can communicate at the appropriate level to both business and technology teams and articulate business needs, pain points, and technical benefits
  • You can manage obstacles while maintaining a positive outlook
  • You're a lifelong learner with a passion for learning new data tools and best practices


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of cloud data engineering experience
  • Experience designing and developing cloud ETL and data pipeline with
  • Experience with developing and operating CI/CD pipelines and other DataOps fundamentals
  • Experience with cloud data warehouse technology
  • Experience in working with business to understand the appropriate data model (relational, tabular, transactional) for their data solution.
  • Deep experience designing and building ETL jobs to move and transform data from various source types and performing exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and aggregation
  • Experience fine-tuning ETL to optimize performance
  • Experience with delivering and supporting production data systems
  • Experience developing client facing, core design documents: data flows, source to target, requirements, data lineage, and data dictionary.
  • Understanding of data modeling (such as Kimball, Inman, Data Vault design approaches)

We'd be super impressed with:

  • Snowflake experience
  • Python experience
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB)
  • Experience and certifications with Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe
