Role Summary
In this position, person will have an opportunity to learn basics of business analytics. There will also be an opportunity to learn and execute SAP transactions and also understand relationship with database tables. Prior knowledge of database modelling and OLAP is going to be an added advantage to be successful in this position. Similarly, any exposure to SAP will be helpful but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities
• Extract data from various functional areas of the sources systems (SAP ERP) into SAP HANA database on cloud• Create data models (Calculation Views) using best design methodologies in SAP HANA database as per the new projects and demand requests• Develop predictive analytical models in SAP HANA database• Develop visualizations and dashboard using PowerBI and DAX and provide new insights and KPI's• Apply roles and security in PowerBI as per the data protection policies• Effectively communicate with business users to understand business needs and translate into BI solutions• Learn and utilize SAP transactions in sales and distribution module• Demonstrate created reports to team members and potential users• Perform other duties as required
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Some related experience preferred• An academic background that includes a quantitative focus, such as data science and business analytics• Knowledge of any or all of the following will be an advantage - • databases, database modeling and OLAP• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) process• Knowledge in creating visualizations, dashboards, reports and queries• Knowledge of data science and predictive analytics• Knowledge of cloud architecture• Strong problem solving and analytical skills• Working knowledge of PowerBI, DAX, SQL and Excel• Knowledge of SAP • High School Diploma• Currently Attending a College or University with declared major related to Computer Science or Information Technology with concentration in Data Analytics • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
