The Data Analytics Lead Analyst will support the North America Risk Operations Fraud function covering all three Citi lines of business. The person in this role will be responsible for the data, dashboards, proof of concepts, and processes needed to mitigate emerging fraud risk, specifically supporting fraud loss data and MIS for the bank. The person in this role will work to empower fraud prevention efforts through data transparency while making data more easily accessible and consumable. He/she will work to identify and address current and future data and knowledge gaps.

The Data Analytics Lead Analyst responsibilities include the following:

  • Engage with key partners in Fraud to develop requirements for new reporting, dashboards, and tools
  • Lead efforts to extract and analyze data on various technology platforms across three Citi lines of business
  • Develop reporting dashboards to highlight impact of fraud trends on business performance and to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support key partners through data warehousing of business analytic views, data transmissions, data integrations, and process automation
  • Provide support for proofs of concept with new vendor tools that combat fraud applications and account takeover
  • Develop standards that ensure quality of execution and accuracy of business reporting
  • Manage ad-hoc requests for data analysis on data sources where documentation is minimal to non-existent

Business and Technical Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with fraud or credit risk analytics in financial institutions
  • 8+ years of experience with SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide) and SQL
  • 8+ years of experience in data manipulation and performance reporting
  • 1+ years of experience in Tableau desired
  • Required background in reporting and ad hoc data support
  • Experience with Hadoop, Python or other Big Data tools desired
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix platforms is desired
  • Ability to work with extremely large data sources from multiple platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, and the mainframe
  • Knowledge of writing queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) desired
  • Experience with Enterprise scheduling tools like Autosys desired
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) knowledge required
