General Summary:

We're looking for an data analytics engineer to join our highly collaborative engineering team. We need someone to help us create software and data systems that enable Qualcomm's portfolio of exciting, world-changing technologies. We regularly use state-of-the-art technology like machine learning, containers, mobile apps, and cloud technology. And we embrace modern development processes and tools.

This role primarily involves working with the team to create systems that access, store, and analyze data. A few examples of activities include writing Python scripts, designing database schemas, and architecting ETL processes.

Job will report to Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV). QGOV division develops special products based on its wireless terrestrial and satellite communication technologies for the military, federal, local, and foreign governments. The position requires obtaining a security clearance and will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation. Applicants must therefore be U.S. citizens and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline• 8+ years' experience in data/software engineering• Professional experience in the following:

o Programming skills in at least one language, e.g. Python

o Relational database technology

o Cloud technology and deployments

Pay range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
