Perform detailed analysis on transportation data provided by clients, conduct extensive peer analysis and extract meaningful insights which can be compiled into reports that will be communicated to key relevant stakeholders, including clients.
Responsibilities:
▪ End to end ownership of problems assigned – these problems would be analytical in nature targeted at solving specific client problems
▪ Work closely with other team members to plan and execute the methodology to solve assigned problems while delegating activities as required
▪ Communicate regularly with the manager involved, who may be working remotely, to communicate updates, concerns and results
▪ Take the lead in proactively identifying methods to improve the existing tools and frameworks used for analysis
▪ Develop necessary dashboards and reports to communicate the data results obtained from analysis to the clients involved
Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred) or equivalent degree from a leading institution in business, logistics, supply chain management or a related major
Skills:
▪ Prior experience (2-3 years) in data analytics which spans across business metrics and processes
▪ Must have at least 2 years of professional hands-on experience with
1. Microsoft Excel
2. Advanced SQL Databases (or equivalent)
3. SPSS (or R or equivalent)
4. Tableau (or Power BI)
5. Predictive modelling
▪ Experience on Alteryx will be an added advantage
▪ Experience of working with teams spread across multiple geographies
▪ Excellent communication skills to engage in conversations with clients and internal leadership
▪ Proven working experience as a Data analyst
▪ Statistical knowledge preferred
▪ Willingness to work in different platforms
