ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Management & Reporting Support

• Assist with data management and maintenance of our medical and pharmacy claims reporting warehouse.
• Manage data collection procedures across clients, vendors, and team members.
• Create and execute data validation and auditing practices to ensure data quality.
• Organize and prepare datasets and spreadsheets for analysis.
• Assist with the development of reports, dashboards, and client presentations.

Underwriting & Actuarial Support

• Analyze and prepare underwriting packages as needed. Underwriting packages may include but are not limited to: periodic claims utilization, trend, and lag analyses; rate and contribution analysis; financial funding analysis; renewal rate and funding projections and modeling; and benchmarking.
• Utilize analytical tools to develop alternative strategies, plan modeling, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Perform technical analysis of group insurance contracts and financial arrangements.
• Work closely with team members to ensure strategic objectives of prospects and clients are clearly stated and that all client deliverables deliver solutions in line with client strategic objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 1-3 years of data analysis, working with databases, datasets and analytical software
