The Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be an integral part of the Global Supply Chain Analytics Team, the Analyst will support the Supply Chain and Operations teams with Data Management, Report Building and Analysis. The Analyst will maintain reporting Administrative Data Tables (Look up tables), lead requirements gathering sessions with internal customers, coordinate with IT for new data requirements, update stakeholders on the reporting projects' progress, build data models in Power BI or Excel, publish and disseminate the reports, maintain the reports as required on the ongoing bases and provide documentation. As required, the Analyst will perform ad-hoc analysis for the Supply Chain team. The Analyst will work diligently to identify process improvement opportunities within the Supply Chain with the overarching goal of reducing manual, non-value added and administrative work. The Analyst will also strive to stay abreast of the current and upcoming technologies that can help improve our workflow and reporting processes. The person in this role will be expected to share new learnings and provide ad-hoc data training to internal customers.

The Responsibilities
  • Develops and produces Excel and Power BI reports and dashboards by leveraging data pulled from multiple systems and tools. Work with the Supply Chain teams, IT and outside sources to pull and align data creating automatic data feeds where possible, while always ensuring data integrity.
  • Works with Supply Chain users and partners from other departments to understand standard (monthly KPI) reporting needs, key business challenges and report frequency.
  • Provides on-demand analysis for ad-hoc key business questions to drive operational improvement.
  • Identifies gaps and leads improvements in existing reporting processes.
  • Recommend establishment of new KPIs and updates to calculations of existing KPIs.
  • Stays abreast of latest tools and industry trends.
  • Attends learning webinars.
  • Provide ad-hoc training in data tools to internal customers.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Science, Business Administration, Finance or Supply Chain. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a business setting engaged in business analytics with 1 year supporting Supply Chain organizations: Procurement, Planning, Logistics, or similar.
  • Experience with prioritizing and being successful in an environment with competing demands.
  • Strong knowledge and use of relevant software applications, such as Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, databases and/or ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Aptitude for learning new technical skills independently.
  • Aptitude for learning new business concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, inquisitiveness and/or Critical Thinking.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to the 80/20 Rule.
  • Occasional travel depending on projects: 1-2 times annually.
