Front Range Payment Systems is a premium billing, loan servicing and processing company which provides interest-free financing to individual consumers purchasing Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC) and Home Protection Plans from American Auto Shield's (AAS) Sellers and provides advance funding to those Sellers.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Supports financial reporting and analysis for Front Range Payment Systems (FRPS)
  • Reconcile day-end and month-end close and provide associated data to supporting departments.
  • Create, maintain, and audit seller reserve reports
  • Prepare and interpret business and financial forecasts
  • Complete journal entries and business reports
  • Update financial disbursements in the Payment Plan software
  • Reconcile Payment Plan system and merchant account statements
  • Complete detailed analysis of ACH and Chargeback Processing
  • Assist in financial statement preparation and audit preparation
  • Work closely with Data Analytics team to report on business performance
  • Support FP&A team for daily, monthly and audit activities
  • Support FRPS Sr. Manager on Reporting needed for Team, Department or Organization.
  • Support and work closely with accounting on FRPS related activities including month-end reporting, audits, etc.
  • Perform a wide variety of professional level business administrative, research, and analytical duties in support of assigned functions, operations, department, and/or organization; perform duties in support of various administrative operations and activities within assigned area of responsibility including special projects, research studies, resource analysis, and other specialized functions.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive business administrative, analytical and statistical reports that present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and present and justify conclusions, forecasts, and recommendations based on data summaries and other findings.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with departments, divisions and outside vendors; serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders; provide information and serves as a resource related to historical and go forward reporting.
  • Perform all responsibilities to achieve individual goals set each quarter.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience & Skills):
  • 3-5 years of accounting and/or finance experience within a financial services, lending or insurance organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ability to learn other MS 365 applications
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with analyzing large datasets and willingness to learn MS Power Query/Pivot Data Models/Power BI
  • Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, including Customer Service skills to effectively deal with internal/external customers
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision and with minimal guidance.
  • Quick Books experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to all compliance, policy and procedure in a highly regulated environment.

Compensation Range:The compensation range for this position is $25.00-$27.00/hr.

Working with a remote team has been a challenge coordinating social events, but we’ve overcome it with virtual happy hours, team lunches, and special events like virtual haunted house tours over Teams. Even though I do not live in the same state with the majority of my team, I feel really connected to them due to our virtual events.
