The Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst who enjoys working strategically, thinking big, questioning existing assumptions, and uncovering new business opportunities. As a Data Analyst, you are responsible for providing analytical expertise to support key strategic and operational initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses a blend of quantitative skills, data storytelling / communications abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit, in order to be an effective member of the team. Additionally, they should be comfortable working as an active participant with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges.

You’ll be joining a team of passionate professionals focused on service reliability, incident response and shape how we think about servicing disrupting events and the associated reporting and analytics to support all aspects of our business.  

Key responsibilities

  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
  • Develop requirements and standards
  • Leverage and analyze data to explore most efficient and effective shipping modes and schedules
  • Utilize data to evaluate vendor operations according to quality standards
  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
  • Track KPIs and report data on supply chain's performance 

Requirements

  • Willing to express new idea and build an analytic culture
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ years of experience using Visualization Tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or relevant role
  • 2+ years of data management, analytics, and reporting management
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL/NoSQL/Postgres/Snowflake/MongoDB
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Git(Hub/Lab)
  • Experience with ELT process a plus
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Python/R (Preferred)
