Position Summary

The Data Analyst role works with Database Developer/Admin and BI lead to provide business analysis and intelligence for internally developed software. This role creates meaning from information via data analysis and provides a secondary resource to DB Admin with backup of critical processes. Data analysis for primary development programs developed in SQL, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory - create views and tables, data mining, and rationalization. Assist with database administration and maintenance across all DBs for internally developed software, support for reporting stand-up in Power BI, data analysis for internal and external reporting, and data analysis for internal and client deliverables (i.e., application topologies).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Data analysis for primary development programs developed in SQL, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory - create views and tables, data mining, and rationalization
• Support business intelligence and analysis for internal and external reporting and deliverables
• Troubleshoot for application support in UI, DB, SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Excel for errors in data flow
• Assist in DB maintenance and administration
• Fulfill some technical support needs prior to developer escalation
• Participate in Agile SDLC, communicate with Product Owner and key stakeholders to understand requirements and functionality

Requirements

Education & Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years data analysis
• Experience working with variety of data types and sources
• Microsoft SQL experience (or equivalent)
• Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software and platforms
