Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at Pluralsight, your main focus will be to build reports and dashboards to support the Cloud Content Department. You will collaborate with the senior leadership team to support day-to-day reporting to executive reports. The Cloud Content Department builds online training courses to upskill professionals.

What you'll own:

  • Retrieve and analyze data using a variety of tools, including data management/analytics systems
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze data about production content to find opportunities of risk and impact
  • Coordination of efforts related to data cleaning to drive accurate and complete data
  • Interfacing closely with Content Leadership to build relationships that help with the understanding of department data needs
  • Coordinate the efficiency and data accuracy of Cloud Content
  • Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards in order to drive departmental KPIs.
  • Develop processes and methodologies to automate reporting where possible
  • Provide support to the organization by crafting new tools to automate and analyze data collection.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that summarize the status of key performance indicators.
  • Interpret and identify trends in the data and collaborate with Cloud leaders to make improvements
  • Review datasets regularly for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies


Experience you'll need:

  • At least 3 years in a role that analyzes data to produce impactful insight (e.g. operations at a technology company, data analyst, analytics engineer)
  • 2+ years experience working in BI tools like Tableau or Looker and MySQL/SQL experience
  • 4+ years of experience in data management
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, business, or equivalent experience
  • Data visualization experience using a variety of tools
