About the job

We're looking for a versatile Data Analyst who will be responsible for executing quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights. You will obsess over our data and synthesize the data into actionable insights. This will involve partnering with other teams across the business to build analyses, data visualizations, and reporting tools. You will be responsible for understanding the breadth of data, collection mechanics, and warehousing as well as working with engineering to build more robust telemetry. Finally, you will have a deep-rooted passion for solving problems and increasing the organization's data aptitude.

This position can be performed from anywhere and is open to remote in the US

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights 
  • Build analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting for stakeholding using data drawn from diverse sources
  • Formulate data-driven recommendations and tie people priorities to business outcomes
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business partners to solve data needs in a scalable way
  • Act as the main liaison between other departments to ensure data accuracy and uniform understanding of key metrics


Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience performing quantitative and statistical analysis
  • Excellent SQL skills for complex querying, analysis, performance optimization, and persisting data
  • Experience in using tools like Tableau or Looker for creating dashboards, reports and data exploration.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, design, modeling and data engineering 
  • Great communication skills, comfortable explaining complex insights and technical topics to non-technical users
  • Experience automating analysis using Python is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or similar
