The Data Analyst will partner with Data Analyst, customers, and leadership to understand business requirements and needs for transforming data into business pertinent information. The data analyst has the ability to understand how information flows across different business processes, systems and teams, and how that information is used to support business objectives. The ideal candidate would have background in data, business analysis, and project management/coordination.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Report/Business Analysis:
  • Communicates with the business/customer/leadership to understand business objectives and needs
  • Identifies solutions to standard requests, problems, or process coordination
  • Translates concepts into practice
  • Is aware of and understands the dependencies and alignment areas that are required between the business needs and other key areas such as data processing, technical design and development, report production, training, and documentation
• Data Analysis:
  • Demonstrates an understanding of data modeling (relationships, data types, tables, etc.) and analytics concepts (queries, reporting, association of data sources)
  • Interprets requirements and translates them into data requirements for standard projects
• Communication Skills:
  • Adept at verbal presentation at the manager/director level
  • Explains standard concepts comfortably to at the customer/peer level
  • Creates deliverable templates and prepares written materials
  • Express independent view constructively, even when others disagree
  • Communicates effectively with clients and team members
  • Creates work products using standard software packages (Visio, Word, Access, Excel)

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience performing data analysis and report development
• Proven ability to work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most more advanced tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and provider networks
• Proven ability to communicate in writing and verbally
