This role participates in the methods and procedures to verify the data in the Warehouse. Scrutinizes data for integrity and reasonability. Testing, designing, maintaining, and programming of business applications used by Underwriting, Business Managers, and other business partners (internal and external). Works with users to develop and vet ad hoc reports, write queries on the data, etc. so that others may use the data for business analysis purposes.

Required Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
- Knowledge in SQL Server, VB.NET, PowerBI, Tableau.
- 1-2 years related work experience preferred.
- Insurance industry and marketing techniques.
- Principles of finance, business, statistics, and insurance.
- Company and department practices and procedures.
- Computer programming.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Participates in the methods and procedures to verify the data in the Warehouse. This includes:
- Modifying and running queries on a daily basis to determine if the data brought into the warehouse is accurate. Communicates issues to the appropriate managers so that problem can be resolved.
- Creating and maintaining comparisons of the data warehouse with mainframe data and other sources on a monthly basis.
- Working with end-users to solve problems or answer questions that arise regarding the integrity of the Data Warehouse.
- Significant understanding of the data and its meaning from a business perspective and the relationships between different data sources.
- Participates in creating, modifying, distributing, and troubleshooting of reports used by business managers and senior management. Scrutinizes data for integrity and reasonability. Consults with Supervisor or Manager on changes needed to the reports and complex problems.
- Testing, designing, maintaining, and basic programming Business Development Center, Agency Scorecards, on-line reports, and other business applications used by Underwriting, Business Managers, and other business partners (internal and external).
- Modify and run queries to determine if data is appropriate for the application.
- Create and maintain comparisons of the data with other sources on a regular basis.
- Scrutinizes data for integrity and reasonability.
- Participates in development and changes to these applications.
- Works with users to develop and vet ad hoc reports, write queries on the data, etc so that others may use the data for business analysis purposes. Works with the Supervisor or Manager to establish additional ways in which individuals can better utilize the data.
- Designs, maintains, and documents computer programs for analysis and other internal operations. Compilations require manipulating data from warehouse, mainframe databases, etc. Makes basic changes to the software as needed as a result of changes in the business, change in law, programming error, etc.
- Assists with designing or designs business development reports, agency scorecards, etc. Applies knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and principles of finance and business to develop reports.
