The Role:
Overhaul is looking for a highly-motivated Data Analyst Manager. Data Analytics plays a critical role in supporting our customers and enabling better internal business processes. Additionally, it feeds into the Overhaul Machine Learning process by identifying areas of deeper exploration and by generating hypotheses. Those who join this team are very passionate about solving complex problems and are strong advocates for a data-driven culture to unlock innovation. We are seeking a people manager to lead a team of Data Analysts. We are looking for someone who will influence business decisions by furthering a data-driven and analytical culture across all areas of the business. This will involve leading and nurturing a team that asks the right questions and then translates them into structured analysis involving large sets of data across multiple systems. Successful candidates for this role will help drive strategic priorities, assume general management responsibilities, and partner with operations, product, and business teams to build the right data solutions.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Manage a team that builds analytics and reporting solutions to help scale Overhaul external and internal operations
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development and enable deeper, more scalable solutions
- Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results
- Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
- Communicate complex analytical results or issues in a clear and easy-to-understand way
- Build a solid foundation and knowledge in products and processes while serving as a strong cross functional leader
- Influence key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Data, Revenue, Customer, and other parners to leverage resources and gain support for analytics solutions and collaboration
About you:
- BA/BS degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a complex fast paced environment
- 2+ years people management experience (or equivalent experience managing peers or team members in a mentorship/informal capacity)
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, visualization tools (e.g. Looker), and programming languages such as Python
- Experience using quantitative approaches to deliver business insights and drive change
- Experience leading major end-to-end analytic projects (planning, design, hands-on development, stakeholder management, communication and maintenance)
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in operational analytics
- Experience with predictive or descriptive analytics and working with machine learning teams
- Demonstrated success presenting complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
- Experience thriving and driving change in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment
- Experience collaborating effectively with a diverse variety of individuals and organizations
