Data Analyst - Law Enforcement Response Enablement

We’re looking for a Law Enforcement Response Enablement Data Analyst to join team Snapchat! As a member of the Law Enforcement Operations team, you will use data to bring insights to solving ambiguous business challenges. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters or San Francisco office, you’ll collaborate with the Data Science, Finance, Legal, Policy, Product, and Engineering teams to improve law enforcement operations and protect Snapchatters.
What you’ll do:
Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data presentation to identify, analyze and provide insights into large data sets
Develop and track internal/external business metrics related to new projects and capabilities
Create volume forecasts and capacity plans
Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor operations performance
Design and implement new operational workflows and track progress via a project plan, consider stakeholder impacts and helping them adopt the change
Enhance existing operational workflows via process improvements
Identify tooling discrepancies, provide recommendations for improvements and liaise with technical teams to implement solutions
Enhance existing Quality Assurance (QA) and certification process and improve QA reporting to accelerate quality improvements
Create and enhance knowledge management documentation and deliver training
Review team members’ work product, create and deliver training, coach and provide feedback
Collaborate with internal and outside counsel on escalations as appropriate
Serve as a consultative partner with our operations and vendor teams and provide expertise for processing all types of legal requests with a high degree of quality and efficiency

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Fluency in SQL, Python, data manipulation, and trend analysis using various software (Spreadsheets, Tableau, Looker)
Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to structure ambiguous business challenges into actionable plans
Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns and trends, come to conclusions or recommendations and write comprehensive reports
Business acumen and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, track deliverables and work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in process optimization projects and identifying performance improvement opportunities
Experience in requirements gathering and analysis, workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviews
Experience in change management activities, designing and executing on communications plans and learning and development plans
Highly attentive to detail, with ability to accurately analyze lengthy legal documents
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an operations, data-oriented, and/or quantitative role, or related consulting experience
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, political science, sociology, Public administration, international relations, computer science, mathematics, economics, or another related area of study
Experience working in law enforcement, legal, compliance, or a related field
Experience working directly with law enforcement in a professional manner and reviewing sensitive content
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Process driven individual with a proven track record of identifying gaps and implementing new processes
Meticulous attention to detail
Not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, no type of work is “beneath” them
Able to work independently while also operating as a collaborative team player
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the company
