The Data Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting/enhancing existing reports and developing customized reports by sourcing the data from various sources based on requirements from the Business Analysts. The Data Analyst will maintain a solid understanding of querying data from relational databases, data warehouses and data marts and ensure report needs are assessed, documented, designed, developed, and implemented.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Train and communicate use of reports and dashboards
• Design and deliver reports to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are accurate and timely, follow best-practice guidelines for data visualization and provide relevant insights with key metrics
• Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements
• Troubleshoot report code, related artifacts to resolve production issues/end user issues
• Suggest solutions to overcome issues and solve future reporting initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field (4+ years of comparable work experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree)
• 2+ years of experience using solid knowledge of relational databases, data marts and data warehouses
• 2+ years of experience querying databases (Microsoft SQL and Oracle) using SQL
• 2+ years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Solid Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL tools
• Knowledge of Health Care Industry and related business functions
• Experience in Medicare Claims and Medicare Risk Adjustment
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with competing deadlines
• Experience with best practice implementations

• Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
• Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $58,800 to $104,600.
