The Challenge
The CustomerZero team at Qualtrics supports the technical foundation of our own internal Experience Management (XM) program, across all XM pillars (Customer, Employee, Product and Brand). As a Data Analyst on the Customer Zero team you will build and maintain the data pipelines that provide operational data to our programs (batch, real-time, etc.). This critical operational data is paired with experience data to enrich our understanding of our customers and employees, and is used to drive organizational improvements. You will work with other teams that own and manage our systems of record and our data warehouse, participate in data governance discussions representing our internal XM programs, and understand up-stream changes that will impact our data pipelines. Beyond demonstrating technical expertise in RDBMS/SQL and ETL-related technologies, you will master the Qualtrics product, in particular in areas related to data integration and visualization, leveraging as many in-product integration capabilities as possible. As “CustomerZero”, you will provide direct feedback to our product team on data integration capabilities and gaps in our product that present integration/data integrity challenges.
Expectations for Success
This highly visible role will interface frequently with leaders and individual contributors across Qualtrics. You’ll work with this diverse set of stakeholders to understand their needs and lead the creation and maintenance of data pipelines to/from the Qualtrics platform. You
will create efficient communication paths with your stakeholders and operating mechanisms to ensure you are effectively capturing and prioritizing their requirements. The best candidate will become an expert on the Qualtrics XM Platform, in particular related to the management of data in the XM Directory, workflows (XFlow) and in-product integrations with other solutions used internally. They will have the ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with both technical and non-technical partners. They will be a self-starter who proactively identifies and fixes issues, without waiting for somebody to ask them. They will be an effective multi-tasker who can manage their time effectively, and have a track record of balancing competing goals and objectives from multiple organizations in order to find common value for each group.
