Job Description:
The Aftermarket Sales to User (STU) team is looking for a motivated Data Analyst to contribute to the exciting project work ahead for the team. As a STU Data Analyst, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and quality of the STU system. This role will provide opportunities to work with many of the core Cat Digital products, as well as Caterpillar dealer data.
Job Duties:

Work directly on complex data problems and provide solutions aligned with overall objectives of Cat Digital
Lead communication across various lines of business and technology partners to solve data problems
Troubleshoot Caterpillar system or dealer data quality issues, and work with data source owners to resolve them
Understand and evaluate business requirements that impact the Caterpillar enterprise, dealership partners, and other internal and external customers
Provide project updates and reports to various levels of management

Basic Requirements:

A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
4 years or more of experience in data analysis
Strong SQL programming skills with high proficiency in querying data warehouse tables
2 years or more experience working with a data warehousing system such as Snowflake or Hadoop

Top candidates will also have:

Hands-on experience working with Caterpillar dealer data, specifically the DICE domains
Experience with data profiling tools such as Alteryx
Experience with data cataloging tools such as Collibra
Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) development skills
Knowledge of cloud technology products (AWS, Azure, Data Lakes, and similar)
Experience with the Python programming language
Strong communication skills with ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
