Job Description
Working in the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (CTC) organization the Cybersecurity Risk Analytics Associate will be a key contributor in the creation of processes, tools, and automation necessary to better align broad cybersecurity threat data to specific business outcomes. The successful candidate will need to be able to understand and articulate cyber and technology risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders to derive actionable and measurable risk treatment strategies. This role will directly support operations within the Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) line of business through the identification, curation, and analysis of the data sets required to establish the next generation of business-focused, cybersecurity risk management.
  • Conduct risk focused analysis on large technology data sets such as technology inventory, security controls, and threat intelligence
  • Facilitate data-driven alignment and impact analysis of technology to business processes and outcomes
  • Identify, raise awareness, and contextualize emerging technology risks to inform leadership prioritization
  • Assess the effectiveness of technology controls against requirements, policy statements, and risk management objectives
  • Provide support and risk management expertise to enable timely communication and reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Create and maintain collaborative and cross-functional relationships to facilitate internal customer visibility, satisfaction, and informed decision-making

Skills / Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of equivalent experience in risk and/or data analytics
  • Experience synthesizing multiple data sources to provide rationalized reporting and operational recommendations
  • Demonstrable competence in understanding and leveraging Business Impact Analysis and Business Resiliency methodologies
  • Proficient understanding of information technology principles including software, hardware, networking, and public/private/hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Foundational experience across information security domains such as technology resilience, access controls, network security, vulnerability management, secure systems development lifecycle, incident management, data protection, policies and standards, risk and control governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working in regulated industries, in particular leveraging technology standards, frameworks, compliance, and industry recognized best practice / standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, SOC)
  • Experience working in a matrix management model across globally diverse, virtual teams to deliver strategic initiatives and commitments, ideally leveraging product and Agile principles

The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm's cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group's number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.
