Customer Development Analyst I

The incumbent is responsible for managing analytic, tactical and operational aspects of sales for the Innerwear business. Customer Development Analyst is responsible for providing support to HBI Innerwear Sales team, HBI cross-functional teams with a focus to drive top line sales, market share and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the communication link between Customer and the HBI internal team - Sales Sr. Manager and Director, customer operations, customer service, finance, marketing and other cross-functional areas for all Customer business aspects.
- Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of Customer's data sources and perform analysis including sales, inventory, productivity, etc to identify business building opportunities.
- Develop and present recommendations to the HBI team and Customer merchant team that highlight opportunities and issues, and comprehensive action plans to address.
- Collaborate with Sales Sr. Manager and Directors to create, monitor and manage Joint Business Plans for the Innerwear businesses. Participate in key quarterly meetings with Customer merchant teams and business analysts to review business performance.
- Plan meetings to prepare for Customer Product Development calendar meetings including product content, pricing, marketing/promotion programs, and meeting presentations. Take an active role in PD meetings with Customer merchant team.
- Create, manage and maintain all new product forecasts for Customer.
- Maintain a complete understanding of the Customer modular process including modular development and creation, initial item set up and initial pipe quantities and execution at retail.
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree (BA, BS) or 6+ years business/analytical experience in lieu of degree.
- 2-4 year related sales support, sales analytic or related experience
- Demonstrate effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and communication (oral and written) skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including advanced skills in Excel and Access.
- Results oriented
