Exceptional opportunity to work in a team environment to grow sales on the #1 apparel brand with Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer. Join forces with sales for Intimate Apparel and a cross-functional team for the Mass Intimate Apparel team to manage the operational aspects of sales for Wal-Mart Intimate Apparel.
Responsibilities
- Become the communication link between the customer and the Customer Development Manager, customer operations, service and other cross functional areas on program execution;
- Tap into retail link for data and perform analysis (including sales, order writing, inventory management, sell-thru and other key financial metrics) to assist Wal-Mart management in identifying business building opportunities, sales trends, micro-marketing opportunities, etc.;
- Be responsible for complete knowledge of specific brands, a broad knowledge of account and retail knowledge of specific brands, a broad knowledge of account and retail link, and development of specific sales recommendations;
- Present findings and recommendations to the team and Wal-Mart personnel;
- Create and build multidimensional queries and reports in order to analyze data weekly.
- Responsibilities also include developing plans and completing input templates so that information is accurately loaded into the Wal-Mart system, and reviewing Wal-Mart files via retail link to insure system accuracy prior to shipment.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years prior sales support, sale analysis or related experience. 4 year degree (BA, BS) or equivalent 6-8 year business/analytical experience in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously, exceptional organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills and be result oriented. Advance skills in Excel and Access; possess an in-depth knowledge of retail link.
