​LeaseQuery ​has an immediate need for a Corporate Development Analyst to help inform and lead the company's strategic M&A and new product roadmap. The analyst will work across finance, product, and corporate team members as well as senior executives within our businesses. This position will be responsible for researching, identifying, structuring, diligence, modeling, documenting and closing acquisitions. On select transactions, this position may be asked to help with transitioning/integrating the business post-close. In addition, the Corporate Development Analyst will also be responsible for researching, sizing, validating new product categories, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

What you will be doing:

• Sourcing and screening of new opportunities in line with the company’s acquisition and product roadmap strategy
• Researching competitors and the competitive landscape
• Develop market sizing and validation studies
• Evaluating new product opportunities and build or buy scenarios
• Performing detailed due diligence analyses to build cases for acquisitions and to identify issues and concerns 
• Performing integrated financial and M&A modeling to drive the decision-making process 
• Preparing presentation materials for senior executives and Board of Directors 
• Leading and liaising with various internal business segments (legal, financial, HR, IT, etc.) and external advisors (accounting, legal, tax, etc.) 
• Performing all facets of diligence related to target companies, industries, and geographic markets 
• Building integration and improvement plans for acquired businesses

What skills and experience we need you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree with top academic performance 
• The ideal candidate will have M&A experience from corporate development or investment banking, or have strong / relevant experience from a consulting, strategy, or “big 4” transaction services background
• Experienced in reviewing/analyzing financial statements, financial models, etc.
• Comfortable interacting with C-level executives
• Expert analytical, financial modeling and forecasting skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Confident and independent self-starter (ability to think critically and take action with limited guidance)
• Organized and has the ability to manage multiple projects and transactions
