Job Description Summary
As a Content Data Analyst at CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. - Responsibilities include but not limited to data identification, data acquisition, data analysis, data documentation, data storage, and data integration. The individual in this position will provide professional skills necessary for all phases of Software Development Life Cycle in relationship to methods for conducting data analysis. They will ensure the integrity of all data extraction, storage, manipulation and analysis.
Job Duties

  • Perform analysis of software application data sets
  • Maintain database library to source all data, rules, flags and edits
  • Perform analysis and translate business needs to create high-quality business requirements and functional specifications
  • Develop and execute methodologies used to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple databases for customer and/or product specific business needs
  • Conduct pro-active research projects in an effort to provide supporting documentation, content for rules creation, and to manage incoming rules, format and troubleshooting requests from across the organization
  • Maintain data inventory database with data acquisition and transfer information from development to Quality Assurance
  • Develop and maintain utilization review Edits, Rules and Flags.
  • Provide support to the QA team and address any questions related to the business requirements, if they arise

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in writing SQL queries, Excel, and Ms Access
  • Possess good communication and documentation skills through clearly written, concise and comprehensive documentation
  • Exhibit strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assume responsibility for data analysis and research methodology as it relates to the PIP/No-Fault industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively with software engineers to develop variables and analytic approach
  • Must be able to perform requested tasks with minimal direction
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks in a self-paced environment.
  • 2-3 years' experience in claims processing industry, as well as data analyst role with the ability to understand and apply software development life cycle methodologies
  • Experience working with or around Business Rules Engines within a Business Process Management System
  • Intermediate knowledge of Medicare, Auto Fee Schedule, and Reasonable Fee payment methodology
  • Knowledge of or experience in Medical coding, a plus
