Consumer Research Specialist

PCH is currently looking for a Consumer Research Specialist to join our team and elevate our consumer insights capabilities. The Consumer Research Specialist will lead the research agenda for our ecommerce and digital media business lines and our marketing, digital product (e.g., Apps), and merchandising functions. They will work collaboratively with the respective business leaders and teams to define our research priorities and then leverage internal capabilities and external vendors to deliver high impact insights that address PCH’s key strategic priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner with PCH business leads to understand goals, opportunities, and challenges; then aligning with them on a prioritized insights agenda
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of insights projects leveraging both internal capabilities (e.g., research panels) and external vendors for qualitative research, quantitative research, social analytics, and consumer experience
- Analyze and synthesize research results to deliver actionable and compelling insights, utilizing PCH’s first party data and other external relevant data sources
- Develop insightful and compelling communications for business and executive audiences that go beyond reporting results but rather impactful business findings and recommendations in clear and concise deliverables
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field
- 5+ years prior work experience in Market Research directly leading both qualitative and quantitative research projects
- In depth knowledge of standard research methods for qualitative research, quantitative research, social analytics, and consumer experience
- Deep familiarity with standard analytic tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and Tableau, as well as social listening and online surveying solutions
- Ability to oversee data science activities conducted in support of the insights agenda
- Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills
- Ability to translate results and trends into business insights and recommendations
