Job Description

Cerner is looking for a Configuration Analyst with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. This position will coordinate with internal project teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. The Configuration Analyst works closely with Cerner consulting teams to ensure the smooth and seamless flow of information/data across all client domains.

Responsibilities include evaluating and configuring software to verify it is ready for our client's use. This role utilizes analytical skills, problem solving capabilities and in-depth solution knowledge to confirm configuration and readiness. Other responsibilities include preparing data for configuration, completing system configurations, escalating reported configuration issues for resolution, and balancing configuration ownership responsibilities across multiple external clients.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
  • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job

• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

Expectations:

• Must reside in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City area
• Must be willing to travel up to 10% as needed

• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
