System1 is growing our Compliance team and is looking for a driven individual who is interested in learning about the advertising world, and using their technical skills to answer complex questions. The compliance team monitors and evaluates external and internal web flows to ensure that they are in alignment with ever changing advertising guidelines from our different ad networks.

In addition to manual ad review, compliance team members are also expected to conduct programmatic review of ad traffic to the System1 ecosystem, predominantly using SQL. You will work across the company to develop SQL scripts and Tableau dashboards to further develop our ability to investigate and alert upon traffic anomalies.

You will work directly with our partner management and internal media buying teams to ensure that all ad copy developed adheres to the established compliance requirements. You will perform manual review of internal and external ad copy, as well as communicating feedback to our internal and external partners.

The Role You Will Have:

• Use our internal platform to review a variety of ad units including Facebook and Native ads
• Perform ad hoc investigations into traffic issues and patterns using both SQL and Tableau
• Utilize customer service and ticket management software to provide compliance feedback on ad creatives
• Assist with organizing data originating from proprietary company-generated reports
• Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes to aid in ad hoc projects as they arise
• Work as a member of the Bot Detection and Traffic Quality team, identifying non-human fraudulent traffic. Training will be provided.

• Familiarity with Google Suite
