  • Understanding and deconstructing product releases, feature/function details and associated competitive announcements
  • Providing real-time competitive deal support engagement to sales teams
  • Creating timely, relevant and actionable competitive content and tools across key competitors, building competitive assets (e.g. battlecards, competitive playbooks, product comparisons) that enable the Medallia sales ecosystem via actionable insights
  • Delivering competitive updates to the sales and marketing organizations through multiple channels, including published content, meetings/webinars and one:one and one:many live sessions and recordings
  • Developing, coordinating and deploying competitive and market projects, analyzing market dynamics and trends through multiple tools and channels, including market research, industry analysts, Win/Loss assessments, and primary, secondary and syndicated research findings
  • Collaborating with senior product, marketing and sales leadership to build out competitive positioning

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in competitive intelligence, market research or like-kind role in a business, academic or related context (e.g., management consulting, high-tech field or market research), preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to write, present, record, and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or relevant advanced training, education or experience
  • Previous experience in research/intelligence product manager, industry analyst or product marketing roles
  • Knowledge of the customer and employee experience space and/or experience with related technology or SaaS organizations
  • Experience analyzing data in a business, academic, or related context (e.g., management consulting, high-tech field or market research) and presenting findings through data-driven storytelling
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced and high-growth global company strongly preferred
