Compensation Specialist - Analytics
JOB SUMMARY
The Compensation Specialist - Analytics will support the compensation function in the design, implementation and ongoing management of general or specific compensation programs and initiatives. This position will support and assure compensation initiatives are aligned with business strategies, objectives and competitive marketplace position. Works closely with Compensation Leadership and cross-functional teams to provide analytical and compensation support, including compensation program design, reporting, planning and analysis.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Perform complex analysis and data modeling to ensure that they are effective and meet business objectives (i.e., salary planning, merit increases, and variable pay programs).
Monitor effectiveness of existing plans, policies, processes, guidelines and procedures, recommending new plans consistent with business needs and compensation trends as required.
Design, prepare, and maintain compensation models.
Create communication plans and strategies to support all Compensation programs and initiatives.
Support the year-end compensation process and supports training / communications requirements of compensation programs.
Assure clear communication of programs and implementation is consistently applied enterprise-wide.
Participate and may take the lead in cross-functional team projects as appropriate, supports ad hoc project/analysis requests.
Provide project management and analytical support to the execution of Charter's compensation strategy.
Partner with HR Technology team to ensure that the HRMS system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, analytical data and calculations.
Work independently with internal clients to determine their reporting needs. Manage databases, work with HR Technology team to ensure data integrity, and perform trend analyses.
May perform additional duties as required.

Education
Bachelor degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business, related field or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
7-8 years Compensation administration experience
3-4 years Project Management Experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CCP preferred; quantitative degree preferred
