The Compensation Analyst will contribute to the on-going strategy, analysis, administration and communication of Affirm’s compensation policies and programs including base pay structure, incentive plan design, equity design and administration, compensation tooling, benchmarking, annual compensation cycle evaluations, and other ad hoc projects. 

What You’ll Do

The Compensation Analyst administers and communicates the company's compensation programs and may assist in planning, developing, and redesigning of base compensation, incentive plans and equity compensation. 

  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve routine issues in effective ways
  • Respond to compensation inquiries from employees on compensation details, system/ tooling questions and other general inquiries
  • Assist with design, implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs
  • Assist with compensation communications and employee presentations
  • Assist with the annual compensation cycle, including manager consultations and the accuracy of compensation information
  • Ensure the reliability, accuracy and security of compensation data used for reporting and analysis purposes

What We Look For

  • Experience in compensation, statistics and data analysis is a plus but not required
  • Strong team orientation with collaborative style; ability to work effectively across internal teams, communicating clearly and comprehensively to meet project deadlines

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Able to maturely handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong logic skills with the ability to holistically evaluate data from multiple sources
  • Highly effective verbal and written communications skills
; able to distill complex concepts/information to employees in a digestible manner
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, and potentially shifting, priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
