Compensation Analyst

As the Compensation Analyst, you will assist with the evaluation, continuous improvement, and implementation of our compensation program globally. You’ll report to our Director of Compensation.
What you'll do
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions
- Plan and communicate compensation structures and programs to recruiters, HR partners, and business leaders to help answer questions and help evaluate job levels and other general comp inquiries
- Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary ranges for Talent and Finance teams
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends to support the development of compensation philosophies and the development of various incentive programs
- Analyze trends in compensation and build intelligence through reporting
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range
- Advise management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, human resource procedures, and collective agreements
What you have
- 2+ years working in compensation or management consulting
- Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices
- Love of numbers and data, with an open-minded approach to problem solving
- Considerate approach, ability to consolidate data with your own, and others, experiences and opinions to establish the optimal solution or process
- Ability to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver
- Desire to consistently improve efficiency and quality of delivery
