As the Compensation Analyst, you will assist with the evaluation, continuous improvement, and implementation of our compensation program globally. You’ll report to our Director of Compensation.

What you'll do

• Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions
• Plan and communicate compensation structures and programs to recruiters, HR partners, and business leaders to help answer questions and help evaluate job levels and other general comp inquiries
• Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary ranges for Talent and Finance teams
• Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends to support the development of compensation philosophies and the development of various incentive programs
• Analyze trends in compensation and build intelligence through reporting
• Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range
• Advise management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, human resource procedures, and collective agreements

What you have

• 2+ years working in compensation or management consulting 
• Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices
• Love of numbers and data, with an open-minded approach to problem solving
• Considerate approach, ability to consolidate data with your own, and others, experiences and opinions to establish the optimal solution or process
• Ability to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver
• Desire to consistently improve efficiency and quality of delivery
