Job Description
Epsilon's Digital Solutions practice helps marketers enhance the effectiveness of their complex digital marketing programs by being industry leaders and SMEs at the intersection where offline and online data comes together. Our group is nimble with the energy and flexibility of a start-up, but with the backing and resources of one of the industry's largest and most respected marketing service and technology providers.
Manager, Digital Activation (Audience Platforms/DMPs/CDPs)
The Manager-Digital Activation, is the main point of contact for both external clients and internal teams, orchestrating and responsible for setting strategic direction and overseeing digital activation programs. Successful candidate will have 5+ year's digital advertising/marketing or audience activation experience, demonstrating strong client services, technology comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Hands on Agency Platforms (M1, mPlatform) or DMP or DSP or CDP experience required; data strategy, and offline data onboarding experience is ideal. Position can be located in Denver or New York City or remote.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as client's digital advertising/marketing ecosystem subject matter expert.
  • Lead tech & strategy engagements using Epsilon's PeopleCloud platform, data management platform (DMP) or customer data platform (CDP), offline data onboarding, and digital media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with teams and partners to develop solutions, which include understanding of PII and non-PII identities, 1st, 2nd, 3rd party data, internal and external technologies, and activation media channels
  • Facilitate buy-in from internal and external stakeholders on how our solutions fit in their martech and adtech ecosystems and overall audience and data strategy
  • Help internal and external clients think holistically for how 1st, 2nd, 3rd party identities and data can best support customer targeting, engagement, and campaign goals
  • Provide guidance to clients and partners on how to best unlock value from data and audience platforms (PeopleCloud, DMP, CDP) in answering audience briefs and business objectives
  • Work with analysts and data scientists to define performance metrics, measurement requirements, test design, uncover performance and insights and unlock opportunities for improvement through optimization and enhancements
  • Manage and own multiple client relationships, serving as the primary day-to-day contact
  • Collaborate and guide cross functional teams through integration projects with competing priorities, several stakeholders, and tight timelines
  • Provide expertise and thought leadership on market trend on audience strategy, cookie-less preparation, and cutting-edge technologies in martech and adtech


Business Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred, in the field of communication, media, technology or business.
  • 5 years minimum hands-on experience in digital advertising technology or media strategy, analytics or digital agency or equivalent years of experience within the digital arm of a consulting.
    • At least 3 years in client-facing role
  • Experience developing and building out collaborative teams
  • Polished business professional with strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate with people from difference functional areas and different levels of responsibility ranging from campaign managers through to the C-Suite.
  • Experience with digital campaign operations, digital marketing strategy development and overall large account ownership
  • Offline data onboarding experience a plus
  • Experience with digital integrations across multiple technology vendors
  • Comfortable working in a "startup" environment within a larger company and demonstrated ability to organize and establish a team in such an environment.
  • Demonstrated success autonomously managing complex multiple work stream projects that require input from many stakeholders


Technical Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more digital activation platforms required
    • DMPs (Adobe Audience Manager, Oracle/Blue Kai, Turn, Salesforce/Krux, etc.)
    • Agency Platforms (M1, mPlatform, etc.)
    • CDPs (Adobe Experinece Platform, Tealium, mParticle, Segment etc.)
    • DSPs (DV360,Mediamath, TradeDesk, Verizon/Yahoo, etc.)
    • Customer Match (Facebook, Amazon, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL tools, Web Analytics, SQL query, Customer Journey Orchestration tools is a plus.
