Job Description Key objectives of the Commercial Banking Client Fraud Prevention Team:

  • Protect from Fraud Losses - Leverage data & analytics, client education, recoveries, and available fraud prevention products to differentiate JPMC
  • Enhance Client Experience and Fraud Education - Seek to minimize client friction; make every interaction a value-add experience
  • Embed Fraud in Product Development - Work with product to design future offerings with client and firm fraud protection in mind
  • Create Fraud Expertise in Market/Service - Position market/service teams to deliver value added thought leadership and client savings


Job Description
The Data and Analytics Solution VP is a critical position within the Commercial Banking Fraud Prevention Team, responsible for optimizing fraud detection strategies powered by analytics insight and machine learning. The Data and Analytics Solution VP is also responsible for innovating the team's data and tooling environment while maintaining adherence to a robust governance framework.
Core Responsibilities for the Data and Analytics Solution VP

  • Rapidly identify emerging fraud trends through data/statistical analysis
  • Optimize fraud rules and models by building predictive trend features with expanded toolset.
  • Actively engage with Machine Learning and Tech development Teams on Machine Learning Feature experimentation and Data Enrichment
  • Own the day-to-day related to analysis, analytics project management and delivery of data innovation initiatives
  • Scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and quantify potential bottom-line financial impact
  • Build and maintain performance management Dashboards
  • Optimize fraud analytics processes from data sourcing to consumption
  • Maintain the team's data infrastructure and automate ETL pipelines
  • Support Senior leaders in ensuring adequate governance and controls followed within the team
  • Lead transformation initiatives and projects across multiple teams within an Agile framework
  • Act as a product owner for fraud data and manage deliverables, timeline, and project charters
  • Support cross functional teams to define reporting and data points required for metrics and analytics
  • Develop content to periodically update executive management, leadership and stakeholders across LOBs on roadmap, delivery milestones and change management


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business, or related technical discipline
  • 6+ years' of experience in a Data, Analytics or Technology related role
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft products suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Word)
  • Experience in data mining leveraging data analytics and visualization tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, Alteryx, Tableau, QliK
  • Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS
  • Experience working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Solutions
  • Strategic thinker that combines strong technical skills and creative problem solving - turning strategy into actionable platform roadmap and delivery plans
  • Excellent ability to influence, partner with stakeholders and drive change
  • Strong business governance and control understanding and experience
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing and or competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to \"think outside the box\" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts like ETL, relational databases, big data (Hadoop, S3, etc)
