Job Family: Finance

The Finance organization is responsible for leading and participating in a number of critical functions including: supporting executive management decisions making by analyzing results, assessing strategic alternatives and developing strategic plans; communicating financial results and forecasts with critical stakeholders, including executive management and Board of Directors, shareholders and regulators; managing the Company's balance sheet, including interest rate and liquidity risks; establishes the Company's capital policies and prioritizes investments; develops and implements controls to reduce operational risk; developing and maintaining financial data and systems. The Finance organization works across functions and Business lines in the Company, requiring a broad understanding of our business, risk and strategy.

Job Function: Treasury

Manages and analyzes cash funds, debt, capital and interest rate risk on behalf of the company. Formulates and updates policies and guidelines on the planning and management of the company's monetary resources. Ensures optimization of income and proper investments. Plans and sources cash requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Analyst, Treasury supports the day-to-day operations in (Asset-Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, Cash Management, Investment Portfolio Management, Cash-Management, Capital Planning and Recovery & Resolution). The incumbent provides analysis in support of operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Reconciles internal reporting of financial and operational data (liquidity risk, market risk, interest-rate risk, Cash Management, Wire Transfer, Capital Management Proceses).
  • Executes controls on key financial and risk data.
  • Executes and reports on SOX controls.
  • Reconciles accounting entries and reports.
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Authorized to exercise independent judgement when necessary to complete funding transfers for the Bank (inclusive of sizable transactions).
  • Analyzes peer benchmarking and perform detail-oriented analytics reporting.

Requirements:

  • Education -
    • Bachelor's Degree: in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent field.
  • Experience -
    • 0-3 years Relatable experience in Banking or financial services industry
  • Skills & Abilities -
    • Possesses good judgment and strong analytical ability.
    • Ability to work well within a team and prioritize tasks and handle numberous assignment simultaneously.
    • Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
    • Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.
    • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, QRM, MS Outlook

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
