About the team
The FIS Strategy and New Initiatives Transformation team is part of the Product Organization focused on Experience Design and Domain Mobilization. This team collaborates with product managers, product owners and other leaders to identify and document experiences, capabilities and domains to focus investment on target state Products. This customer-centric approach provides clients with the right set of strategic solutions to grow their business and allows FIS to focus investment into those same strategic solutions - reducing duplication and complexity. The breadth of Products spans Payments, Banking and many other growth solutions.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and coordinating customer experiences across FIS' suite of solutions. In addition, you will:

 

  • Facilitate ideation and documentation within, and across, product team to create winning customer experiences leveraging FIS technology.
  • Leverage existing solutions, partnerships and new development to create delight for customers and users of FIS products.
  • Share completed experiences with product teams, enterprise architecture and development to jumpstart projects

 

  • Documents and publishes appropriate designs and business architecture fundamentals.
  • Facilitates definition and maintains a library of personas, journeys and functional component models within and across FIS product lines.
  • Documents experiences leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line roadmap.
  • Documents and communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.
  • Communicates experiences and associated documentation to technical and business audiences.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related business field, computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience (5-8 years).
  • Demonstrated experience as application development system designer or lead on many "very large", i.e., 10,000 hours or more spanning more than 6 months projects
  • May also require one or more of the following experience requirements:
  • Successful design and implementation of applications.
  • Experience working across teams in a matrix environment.
