We are looking for a savvy Business Systems Analyst to join our growing team of Business Applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a startup or a similar fast paced environment. This role is primarily focused on implementing, optimizing and supporting Financial ERP applications and projects with potential high value. The BSA will collaborate with system architects, data engineers and super users of business applications. They must be self-directed and comfortable remotely supporting the application and data needs of multiple teams, systems and products, in distributed geographies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Primarily responsible for delivering value to the organization through strategic architecture, and implementation of the major Financial ERP like NetSuite or Workday.
  • Act as a key trusted liaison and SME for Production Support and tasks pertaining to Financial Applications.
  • Analyzes business requirements and leads systems implementation, integrations, and process improvement initiatives supporting the Finance department. Requires strong hands-on ERP systems knowledge, analysis, support and reporting expertise, and hands-on experience with full-cycle implementations, which will enable you to successfully partner with ERP and respective cross-functional applications with business process owners and stakeholders.
  • Multi-task on various tasks and projects with varying priorities and effort levels, and demonstrates flexibility to meet changing demands with careful evaluation and communication of work targets—the capability to work independently and remotely, with minimum supervision.
  • Experience in actively partnering with business process owners, building efficient end-to-end solutions, and delivering projects that improve user productivity while maintaining appropriate controls. Owns and maintains up-to-date documentation of all deliverables for ERP Financial applications from the SDLC standpoint.
  • Partners with Enterprise data warehouse engineers for design, support, and troubleshooting of data sourcing strategies. Ensure integration points and data flows between ERP and connected boundary systems - including but not limited to Salesforce and EDW - are efficient and optimal.
  • Analyze requirements for various Financial reporting needs of the organization. Help evaluate of best solution approach between operational, analytical, and BI reports minimizing redundancies in reporting solutions.
  • Manage compliance across financial applications for SOX and GDPR requirements as required by evolving business needs. Has demonstrated experience working with Internal Auditors.
  • Performs Administrative tasks including security support, end-user access, and release management, for ERP financial applications.

Your Skills and Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of relevant industry experience Hands-on experience on three or more implementations of major ERP like NetSuite or Workday Financials or equivalent. This is a primary qualification requirement. 
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles would be an advantage. Working familiarity with an enterprise reporting tool like Tableau or Qlik or equivalent would be a huge plus.
  • Experience supporting and optimizing tools and corporate processes for Accounting, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Verifiable ERP Systems Certification is highly desirable, not a must.
  • Experience in evaluating and/or implementing and/or supporting multiple ERP boundary applications - like Avalara, Ramp, Stripe, AirWallex, etc.
  • Used Project/Task Management tools like Trello, Monday.com, JIRA, or equivalent
  • Working experience in using collaborative tools and applications - including not limited to - Slack, Confluence, Google Suite. 
  • Conversant with working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, as well as working familiarity with a major RDBMS platform.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • You are passionate about all aspects of data and process governance and have a curious, exploratory attitude to discover information.
  • This is NOT a project management or a financial analyst role.
