About the department
Cloudflare's Enterprise Applications team builds and runs our business enterprise systems that enable Cloudflare internal teams to operate efficiently and enable our customers and partners to do business with us. Enterprise Applications is part of the CIO organization.
What you'll do
As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you are expected to be an advanced professional in the systems & process design and implementation space with strong Treasury Management, Procure to Pay, Record to Report business process knowledge. The Business Systems Analyst will elicit, understand, and document the internal customer's business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows. You will also be responsible to create the functional specifications that meet those requirements, serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and test the developed functionality. This role will be supporting Treasury and Bank apps and will have strong knowledge on Bank SFTP/API integration, works closely with other Business SMEs, Developers, Integration specialists through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.
This job requires an experienced analyst and hands on technical knowledge on Cash & forecasting processes who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, lead others, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

• Maintain and support direct connectivity with internal and external financial partners using your good knowledge of FTP/SFTP and web service to understand the integration between ERP and Treasury or any other third-party application.
• Supervise daily treasury system functionality, lead research and issue resolution.
• Serve as Technical Admin and Systems analysts for finance-managed applications including the Bank Portals, Blackline, NetSuite and Treasury systems.
• Assist management in project work streams with business analysis, implementation of functionality, testing, and connectivity.
• This position will be a functional/technical role who will maintain Blackline, Kyriba as admins
• Own specific project work streams, providing leadership and project management.
• Work with Internal Audit and Compliance teams, as well as external Audit teams.
• Lead training for treasury system functionality and procedures.
• Develop and run ad hoc reports and database queries based on business needs.
• Execute other projects, assignments and tasks as required.
• Deliver functional specifications that includes functional hierarchy, workflow, business rules, interface design and definitions, outstanding issues, data analysis, and data mapping to business users and development staff
• Develop methodology documents based upon self-initiated interviews, diagrams, surveys and workflow analysis
• Create detailed plans for execution and implementation of new processes
• Conduct gap analysis between application and stated customer requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact.
• Facilitate and perform Build vs Buy analysis for new tools or new feature requests on existing applications
• Work with internal business users to demonstrate the changes to the system and ensure all relevant business needs are addressed.
• Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and processes, and prepare detailed status reports for executive management

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's degrees in accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, or information technology are required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Treasury or IT.
• Working knowledge of Blackline/Cash Accounting/Treasury preferred.
• Knowledge and training with treasury or finance applications including functional and system administration.
• ERP Systems and/or communication technology protocol background required. Well-versed with the Accounts Payable module. Should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the end-to-end payment cycle and should be able to complete payment execution
• Fair understanding of file format required to transmit data between different systems
• Experience in a full end-to-end system integration project including specification design and testing.
• Prior TMS experience is preferred including but not limited to (Kyriba, GTreasury, SunGard Integrity, FXall, Chatham, Bloomberg Terminal, or similar products)
• Strong ability to work as part of a team, work with a high degree of self-direction and motivation.
• Ability to lead a team of stakeholders through discovery and solution design for production issues.
• Has expertise in developing and preparing use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements
• Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment
• Experienced in implementing and sustaining best of breed SaaS applications implementations in an enterprise environment
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in technology-related field or relevant experience in implementing Business systems
