About the team
The Strategy and Transformation (S&T) team is part of the FIS Banking Solutions Technology Development (Software Engineering) organization and is charged with supporting our businesses and functions in driving innovation, collaboration and efficiency. Our team leads the delivery of large-scale initiatives that support business growth activities, foster continuous process improvement, launch new capabilities and implement new technologies. We broadly engage with the Leadership Team and employee community to source pain points in our processes that may be impeding innovation or slowing down business. The team will play a critical role in understanding these barriers and partnering with Technology and Business leaders to solve them.
What you will be doing
S&T is seeking a strategy analyst to provide business and functional leaders with guidance on addressing the most urgent hurdles in their processes and organizations. The position will support senior leaders through the process of scoping improvement initiatives, diagnosing and solving pain points, and implementing improvements. The strategy analyst will provide support to a portfolio of initiatives, at any given time, dynamically working to tailor the assistance provided to each initiative based on business/ function need.

  • Contribute to multiple aspects of corporate strategy planning, documentation, execution, testing and launch of initiatives
  • Collaborate with Technology Development leadership & organizational stakeholders to communicate long term visions, set and sequence strategic priorities, help to support and build out capabilities to achieve these organizational goals
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve initiative goals
  • Support the analysis of onboarding new tools/technology/software into the organization as needed
  • Analysis and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Drive the strategy and organization of Technology Development strategic efforts to ensure alignment with organizational vision, mission and strategy
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address business issues and opportunities


Developing professional role. Usually with a 1-3 years experience, works on moderately complex assignments, exercises judgement with defined processes and procedures. Receives little instruction/guidance on day to day work and detailed guidance on new assignments

  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving capabilities; uses innovative thinking to identify new/different solutions; looks beyond immediate problem for wider implications and determines best path forward
  • Ability to gather various types of requirements from stakeholders and track requirements to completion with others on the team
  • Ability to identify gaps in processes or procedures and help support improvements in those areas / make appropriate recommendations for change
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, illustrative, data visualization, and presentation. Flexibility to interact with internal business customers, peers, management, and vendors on diverse topics.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile Ways of Working (Scrum and/or Kanban and/or SAFe)

The salary range is posted in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.$77,290-129,840
