About the team
The role of the Extended Account Analysis (XAA) Team is to complete all support, development, and conversion related activities for two applications at FIS. These applications are XAA and Vector Connexion/EDI. XAA is the largest of these two applications. XAA is a complex billing system for commercial accounts. XAA's customers are typically larger financial institutions that process clients that are commercial accounts. The XAA team completes all activities associated with the support and development of the XAA product. This includes funded and strategic development of the product, day-call and night-call support, maintenance, and the conversion of new clients onto the product.
The XAA group is a team that is highly collaborative, with a passion for the product and clients.
What you will be doing
•Analyze business and user needs, documentation of requirements and functional specifications following project management standards.
•Writes test plans and test cases to ensure modifications made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
•Trains internal employees or external clients on enhancements to application. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of theaudience.
•May mentor, guide, advise and or check the work of less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
• Complete new client implementations and mergers for the application.
•Client support.
What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.
  • Excellent customer service skills that build and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analysis, problem solving, decision making, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of financial services industry or commercial treasury products would be a plus.
