Business Support Analyst
Job Description:
This position will perform and have the following duties, roles, and / or responsibilities:
- May write standard operating procedures or detailed description of program functions.
- May act as liaison between programmers and end user or customer.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Expert proficiency in computer skills required.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Demonstrated ability to support Intelligent Mail Package Barcode and package services products.
- Ability to work independently with very limited supervision on complicated tasks required.
- Strong interpersonal and professional oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to lead team members in methods of technical problem resolution.
- Wide degree of creativity in improving existing processes is expected.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
Required Skills:
- Requires an associate degree OR 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Interpersonal and professional oral and written communication skills required.
- US Citizen or Green card holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Desired Skills:
- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience in software problem analysis and resolution desired.
- Barcode Symbologies, Web Services, FTP/SFTP.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access is a plus.
- Experience with using ServiceNow Tracking system a plus.
- Familiarity with postage statements, XML, and database concepts a plus.
