Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepares financial, business, and operational analyses of products, services, projects, or general business that may include contract validation, cost benefit analysis, analysis of technology, and vendor services that support best recommendations.
  • Prepares, and monitors supply utilization and financial projections as well as market trends that effectively support best business practices.
  • Creates comparative matrices based on the determination total cost/benefit analysis. Assists in the development of financial proformas and product evaluations.
  • Utilizes systems and department software to develop, and maintain financial reporting tools to support business decisions, which include but are not limited to reports on savings, return on investment, and compliance. Prepares related reports, graphs, charts, presentations and other documents to support analysis.
  • Effectively communicates with others throughout the system and externally to gather necessary information for conducting analysis, assessing market related conditions, and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Assists in and supports the development of business policies/procedures as needed.
  • Conducts special financial and business related studies as needed and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.



Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.



Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.



Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Budgeting and/or Reporting.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of department's functionality and processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, cost benefit analysis, and reporting preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or similar products. Experience with large scale automated systems required.
  • Experience with Workday Reporting and Tableau
  • Expertise preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to orchestrate several functions and/or resources to accomplish objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with physicians and other health care staff.
  • Ability to work effectively and responsible without immediate, direct supervision as this role is remote.



Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to normal office environment areas.
  • Must have ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Uses a computer continuously throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • The position requires travel so the incumbent will be exposed to road and weather hazards.
  • Sits the majority of the workday.
