Sr Business Analyst-Finance
The Sr Business Analyst will provide information and advice related to improving service line competitive financial performance including annual financial plan, business services/processes analyses, business plans, and project feasibility studies.
Note: This position will not be required to complete an assessment at time of application.

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of three years accounting and/or financial analysis experience required.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required.
* Possess a strong knowledge of financial management and accounting theory and practice including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, profit and loss, and budgeting required.
* Demonstrate an understanding of hospital and other general health care operations.
* Working knowledge of third-party reimbursement practices for hospitals and physicians required
* Proven financial and analytical skills, including using knowledge of cost behavior principles required.
* Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables, vlookups), Access, Word, and PowerPoint required.
* Database knowledge for query and report writing required. Excellent oral and written communication skills for explaining financial recommendations required.

* Highly motivated and independent to take action with minimal direction and supervision required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior relevant work experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Understanding of healthcare reimbursement preferred.
* Master's degree in business, accounting or public health preferred.
