About the job
The Red Hat Marketing Technology and Operations (MTO) team is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join us. In this role, you will work closely with the MTO Marketer Efficiency team, as well as cross-functional teams, to support process efficiency across Marketing. You'll be part of a team responsible for helping build and optimize marketing delivery processes and systems. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to create, improve, and scale marketing execution processes
  • Gather requirements to interpret business needs and translate them into system and process improvements
  • Support any cross-functional effort around creating investment plans using existing technology and capabilities to support business growth
  • Work to improve how Red Hat entitles and fulfills subscriptions and services, how we select tools to help these processes, the releases of our offerings to our field teams and partners, assessments of the effectiveness of existing offers, and our ability to rapidly respond to the changing requirements of our business
  • Guide the adoption of high-priority process improvement changes throughout Red Hat as related to the implementation of offerings and programs
  • Map current-state processes, gather stakeholder requirements, and create and guide a roadmap to achieve a desired future state
  • Perform ongoing evaluations of processes, feedback sessions with stakeholders, and continuous coordination across teams
  • Create operational efficiencies in the long term that will reduce friction and enable Red Hat to scale more efficiently
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of identified issues across teams


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience; MBA degree, certification in program or project management, or Six Sigma are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience supporting process optimization in operations or marketing departments; direct marketing operations expertise is a plus
  • Working knowledge of core marketing operations applications (Salesforce, Eloqua, Aprimo, etc.)
  • Comfortable supporting multiple projects
  • Relationship building skills with a persistent and enthusiastic customer service mentality
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills focused on clear and concise recommendations related to complex problems and analysis
  • Traditional and lean process improvement skills and traditional and agile project management skills
  • Ability to think creatively, combining quantitative assessments, qualitative inputs, and vision to create potential future alternatives
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and deliver information in a variety of ways and to a variety of audiences, including executives and other business leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity; open-minded to multiple points of view with the ability to think on your own
