This position report into the global head of Business Operations for Capital Markets and offers a highly motivated candidate the opportunity to support the group president of Capital Markets business. This position provides an excellent preparation for a future management role in FIS.

WHAT YOU BRING FOR EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders

  • Daily interaction with the company’s senior management is an integral part of this role and thus the role also demands a high level of maturity and exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team-building, negotiation and conflict management skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive and can effectively manage both strategic and tactical initiatives

  • Creative Skills: able to produce content independently or in coordination with creative and communications teams

  • Requires strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail and resourcefulness

  • Ability to effectively establish credibility in positive, professional, trusting relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Expert level user of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word) and proficient user of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)

  • The successful applicant will have at least 4 years, but no more than 6 years, experience in a business-related role, ideally business consultancy experience in the financial services domain.

  • Prior Business Analysis, Project Management and/or Internal Communications experience is a must

  • Financial technology, financial services and/or software industry knowledge is strongly preferred

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide daily operational support to the group president including but not limited to creating internal communications, project managing initiatives, organizing senior executive meetings and assisting in preparation of board and budget materials, talking points and scripts.

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives, e.g., Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports which involves liaising with business heads to collect information in order to consolidate, analyze and summarize for presentation

  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams

  • Develops and tracks metrics that provide insight in to process and business performance measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Collects and analyzes data to identify root cause of problems and propose recommendations.

  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for processes and initiatives.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
