Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Help define the data management vision and identify opportunities and processes to ensure data is accurate, reliable, available, accessible, and secure.
  • Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
  • Lead the development of analytics data models and definitions to make data accessible and meaningful for business users.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership across a comprehensive range of data sources, develop and prepare strategies for Business Intelligence processes and evaluate the data architecture landscape and provide suggestions to scale for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the in-scope applications, including what business functions are provided by each, the technical architecture, and all application interfaces.


Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of demonstrable experience in data engineering, analytics, data warehousing and data management.
  • Hands-on experience using databases and related technologies in a fast-paced business environment with large-scale and complex datasets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts and the deliverables associated with these types of projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with building dynamic visualizations and dashboards. Specific experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical / Machine Learning techniques is a plus.
  • Experience engaging in conceptual technical discussions with data engineering partners, with experience sharing technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
