Business Intelligence Data & Reporting Analyst - Media

The Business Intelligence team plays an integral role in helping Spectrum Reach drive value from information. This role will contribute to Spectrum Reach's success by ensuring that our internal partners' goals are realized through data analysis and reporting activities of the Business Intelligence Group. This role is responsible for empowering business leaders with concise, high-quality information, helping them leverage it to identify and address business opportunities. This is a consultative role that partners across all of Reach with a focus on the interpretation of data.
DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS
- Instill best practices across the company using Business Intelligence tools and philosophies from front line employees to executive leadership
- Consult with the business in term of the usage and interpretation of business data relevant to their business function
- Turn complex data sets into clear and concise insights to all levels of the company
- Partner across the company on best practices around analytical findings based on the analysis conducted
- Project management responsibilities include the gathering detailed business requirements, process requirements, establishing definitions and gaining approval
- Provides in-depth technical expertise with all aspects of the solution design and implementation, including requirements definition, data acquisition processes, data modeling, process automation, escalation procedures, construction and deployment
- Identify solutions to enhance the existing Business Intelligence infrastructure processes and technology.
- Create forecast models for business leaders on the future performance of the business
- Leverage expert knowledge of Business Intelligence capabilities and deep familiarity with business trends identifying opportunities and threats
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure alignment
- Perform other duties assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in data, analytics and/or data management is key
- 1+ years of project management experience
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with one or many Database/BI platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, Alteryx and Tableau with an in-depth knowledge of MicroStrategy (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- A proven passion for leveraging data to drive significant business impact
- Ability to perform critical thinking in the area of data analysis and process
- Strong team and relationship building skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects/assignments
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a good understanding of database concepts and SQL skills
- Media/Ad Sales experience a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research or other quantitatively-focus field or equivalent education and/or work experience
