Key Elements of Your Position

You will be part of a strategic multi-million-dollar investment in data and analytics sponsored at the highest level of our organization. You will be partnering with stakeholders and executives on analytics projects. You will bring best practices, a track record of fostering partnerships, and an approach that delivers results. With stakeholder input, you will manage projects to inform the enterprise of trends, competitive intelligence, and operational insights. You will leverage sophisticated analytic tools and methodologies in support of a winning strategy in a continually changing business environment. You will provide strategic input on projects both large and small.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as technical lead for analytics products. Work as senior technical member for a team of analytics professionals to develop an information advantage for the Employee Benefits Division utilizing analytical capabilities while working to develop the team's reputation as highly skilled experts in business intelligence.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to understand their business and business challenges and identify trends, patterns and develop recommendations.



  • Develop hypotheses, convert those into analytical problems and develop analytics dashboards and solutions in support of a variety of strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Have open eyes and ears for customer needs, believe in customer delight, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage analytical capabilities to drive business results.
  • Work with large data sets and develop algorithms, dashboards, and supporting codes to ensure the highest product quality. You will use your skills within the context of industry practices to deliver robust analytics products.
  • Have product mindset and deliver "Analytics" as feature or product, appreciating all vital components of a successful product (backend, frontend, governance, user experience, scalability, etc.).



Qualifications

Academic/Experience

  • Master's degree or higher in quantitative fields with 3+ years industrial experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields with 5+ years industrial experience.



Technical Skills

We acknowledge that it is unlikely you hold all we wish for, but we get excited when we meet professionals who have 5 or more of the following:

  • Data Presentation: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Services, DAX/DAX Studio.
  • Data Analysis: SQL/TSQL, Python, R, Azure Synapse, Statistics, Machine Learning.



  • Data Management: Database and Data Warehouse principles, ETL principles, DevOps principles (Azure DevOps), Code control (GitHub, etc.), DataBricks, Azure Data Factory.
  • Product Development: Agile, SAFe, Jira.

Note: The Standard is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary for this role when hiring a Colorado resident. The salary for employees working in Colorado in this role is listed below. The Standard's package also includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.

  • Please note, eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.



Salary Range:
$74,400.00 - $138,900.00
