Responsibilities
Our Resource Demand team works with highly confidential information, provides program portfolio analysis, and generates reports that are shared across the Engineering organization, executive leadership, and Portfolio Planning.
As a valuable part of our team you will provide analytical support on global Engineering Portfolio decisions and headcount budget planning.
You will also collaborate across General Motors to create an understanding of the results and improve trust and confidence with our customers.
Additional Description
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other system analysis fields
- Analytic ability in MS Excel, Power BI
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Demonstrated capacity for using data to reach conclusions, drive solutions and make recommendations
- Great accuracy and talent for identifying and resolving data issues
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with or knowledge of resource demand and workload modeling
- DFSS Black Belt Certification
- Knowledge of GM's Global Product Development Process (GxDP), Portfolio Planning database (GM3PD), product content sheets (PCS)
